FORSYTH COUNTY, N.C. — In the wake of Hurricane Helene, multiple counties around the Triad are joining forces to update their mult-jurisdictional Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan.

The plan affects Caswell, Davie, Forsyth, Rockingham, Stokes, Surry and Yadkin Counties. According to a press release, the plan "identifies and assesses your community's hazard risks and identifies strategies that determine how to best minimize or manage those risks.

But before they update the plan, the counties are asking for public input via a survey to help them "better understand your hazard concerns and mitigate measures that lessen the impacts of future hazard events."

To make your voice heard, you can complete the survey here.
