Greensboro Police say power lines are down, and multiple wrecks have been reported in the city.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Power lines are down, vehicle wrecks are reported, and thousands are without power in the Triad as stormy weather conditions developed Saturday late afternoon.

About 2,400 customers were without power in Greensboro as of 5:06 p.m. Saturday, most of which were in the Browns Summit community, according to Duke Energy's power outage map.

Over 2,700 customers are without power in Guilford County as of 11 p.m.

The estimated restoration is 3:15 Sunday morning.
