BLOWING ROCK, N.C. — Beloved mountain theme park Tweetsie Railroad announced Friday it plans to reopen on Friday, November 29.
The railroad in Blowing Rock said it will stay closed for the rest of the fall season to focus on Helene recovery efforts.
“This storm has touched the lives of so many in ways we never anticipated,” said Chris Robbins, President of Tweetsie Railroad. “Many of our team members and local families are facing tremendous challenges, and we want to ensure they have the time and resources they need to get back on their feet. Their safety and well-being are our top priority.”
Tweetsie Railroad said it looks forward to welcoming guests back just in time for its train ride light display known as Tweetsie Christmas. Tickets are available now.
