FORT WORTH, Texas -- Hail the size of golf balls pounded northern parts of Texas early Thursday morning.
Our sister station WFAA reports at least 50 vehicles in a mobile healthcare parking lot were damaged in the storm. At least 11 ambulances, seven support vehicles, and 30 back-up ambulance cabs had broken windshields or dents.
Thousands of power outages have been reported in the Fort Worth area.
A tornado warning was issued for Parker County earlier in the morning, but no damage was reported.
