Plenty of sun is back in the forecast for Friday as high pressure builds in across the southeastern United States. When you think high pressure - think clockwise rotation! In this case, high pressure will funnel in warm and dry air from our south.
Temperatures, as a result, will be much warmer than the past few days, even crossing normal highs for this time of year on Friday. Friday will likely include temperatures in the deep 60s to near 70.
With more sunshine and more time for the high to usher in warm air, Saturday and Easter Sunday are expected to be even warmer! 70s will likely make a return for the weekend.
Easter Sunrise Services
Heading to Sunday service on Easter? A jacket will be most comfortable in the morning but it certainly won't be too chilly. Expect temperatures in the lower 50s when you walk out the door. By the end of service, temperatures will be warming up.
Easter Weekend at the Beach
Going to the coast for Easter weekend? Temperatures will be even warmer than in the Triad; though, water temperatures are still cool near 60 degrees. It will be nice for a stroll along the beaches with temperatures mainly in the 70s!
