GREENSBORO, N.C. — More than 7.5% of TSA employees are missing work this week. They're taking "unscheduled absences" because of the government shutdown, now on day 24.
Major airports in Atlanta, Dallas and New York are feeling the impacts. They have long lines of people, waiting to get to their gate.
That got us wondering about the Piedmont Triad International Airport in Greensboro. Is the shutdown affecting them?
We went to PTI on Tuesday, and everything was running smoothly as normal. TSA employees there are going without pay. Their first Friday without a paycheck was last week.
