CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Frontier Airlines is adding more flights out of Charlotte Douglas, allowing passengers to soon take direct flights to the other Queen City, Cincinnati.
Starting next month, passengers can fly direct with Frontier from Charlotte to Cincinnati. The flights will be available four days a week beginning May 16.
Frontier added seven new destinations out of Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) earlier this year, including nonstop service to New York LaGuardia (LGA), Houston Bush Intercontinental (IAH), Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) and Chicago O'Hare (ORD). The low-cost airline also plans to add nonstop service to Buffalo (BUF) and San Juan, Puerto Rico in May.
With the addition of Cincinnati, Frontier now has 14 total destinations from Charlotte. The airline recently added nonstop flights out of Raleigh to Boston, Miami, Milwaukee and Tampa.
Frontier is headquartered in Denver, Colorado, and the company says this effort at Charlotte's airport is being done to "deliver on the mission of providing affordable travel across America."
