GREENSBORO, N.C. — A woman is dead after a car crash on the off-ramp of I-40 East to Mt. Hope Church Road on April 24, according to the Greensboro Police Department.
A Jeep Cherokee was stopped in the right lane of the ramp. A car driven by Carol Palmer crashed into the back of the Jeep, police said.
Palmer was taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The investigation is ongoing.
