Winston-Salem school bus involved in crash on US-421

The school bus was empty, and the bus driver was not hurt.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — UPDATE: All lanes have reopened.

A Winston-Salem school bus was involved in a crash on US-421 Wednesday, according to the fire officials.

The crash happened around 10 a.m. at exit 240 for South Peacehaven Road. No students were inside the bus and the driver was not hurt.

An SUV overturned on the shoulder and EMS took an adult driver and child to a nearby hospital.
