HIGH POINT, N.C. — A water main break in High Point is causing a road closure for the remainder of the day, according to city officials.
Water pressure has reduced but concrete is still being broken to access the main. The roadway will be closed for the remainder of the day.
City services responded to a water main break in the 900 block of East Lexington Avenue early Tuesday morning.
The road will remain closed between Forrest Street and North Centennial Avenue for an extended period of time. Updates regarding the road closure will be made after crews have assessed the needed repairs.
