GREENSBORO, N.C. — A woman was killed in a car crash early Monday morning in Greensboro.
Police said sometime before 7 a.m., a 28-year-old woman crashed into another vehicle on US 29 North and Gorrell Street while trying to enter the highway. Police said the woman died at Moses Cone Hospital.
Police didn't share the condition of the other driver.
Both cars appeared totally damaged when WFMY News 2 crews arrived at the scene.
The crash stopped traffic on US 29 North for several hours while crews cleaned up the wreckage.
