GREENSBORO, N.C. — North Carolina State Highway Patrol said one person died in a crash on I-73 North in Greensboro Monday morning.
It happened around 3 a.m. near Exit 117, NC-150/Oak Ridge Road.
Troopers said a Chevrolet passenger car was going south in the northbound lanes on I-73 and crashed with a tractor-trailer. Officials said someone in the car died.
The crash shut down all northbound lanes for several hours. All lanes reopened before 7 a.m.
