WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — UPDATE: Winston-Salem police said the road has reopened.
Winston-Salem police are responding to a traffic crash on US-421 at Peters Creek Parkway involving at least 2 cars and powerlines blocking both lanes Wednesday morning.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
Northbound traffic is being directed to get off US-421 before the Peters Creek Parkway exit, and southbound traffic is being directed to exit at Cloverdale Road.
Drivers are to expect traffic delays.
