WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Silas Creek Parkway is open again after a crash shut down the northbound lanes for several hours.
Lanes reopened late Tuesday afternoon, but this all started Monday night around 7 p.m. Police said there was a crash and while crews were working the scene, powerlines collapsed in the roadway. The road was shut down to traffic around 11 p.m.
Duke Energy crews worked to repair light poles and restore traffic lights in the area.
There's no word on what caused the crash or if anyone was injured.
