FORSYTH COUNTY, N.C. — CORRECTION: Since reaching out to Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools, officials said the crash happened at Laverne Lane and not Glenwood Road.
Emergency crews are on the scene of a crash involving a school bus in Forsyth County Friday, according to police.
The Kernersville Police Department said it happened at Laverne Lane and Union Cross Road.
No injuries have been reported, according to Kernersville police.
Winston-Salem/ Forsyth County School Officials said there is damage to the bus door and a mechanic is on scene along with supervisors. School officials said police have since released the students to their parents.

Police said the intersection will be closed until further notice. Drivers are urged to use caution if traveling near the area.
Kernersville police said they're working to find out what led up to the crash as this is an ongoing investigation.
