FORSYTH COUNTY, N.C. — The North Carolina Department of Transportation has announced they will be closing the left lane on the southbound side of US 52 at Ziglar Road this weekend.
The closure is part of the ongoing Winston-Salem Northern Beltway project.
The left lane is expected to be closed beginning tonight at 7 p.m. to allow crews to complete paving and median work. The road is expected to remain closed until 6 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 11, according to NCDOT.
Work will take place between the bridges over the railroad and in the area south of the Ziglar Road bridge.
NCDOT said lane closures will be adjusted as the project progresses.
