RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. — First responders rescued a person from a rollover crash Friday in Randolph County.
Westside Fire and Rescue crews said it happened around 3:33 p.m. near Cedar Creek Road and Old Lexington Road. When crews arrived, they found a single vehicle overturned in an embankment with a person trapped inside.
Rescue crews quickly jumped into action to deploy equipment for extrication, which took about 30 minutes.
Units were on the scene for about two hours.
