GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro police said a man was hit while riding his bicycle on Fernwood Drive on Friday.
The crash happened shortly after 10:30 a.m. and shut down the road between Battleground Avenue and Lawndale Drive.
Officers said the bike rider has life-threatening injuries in the hospital.
Police said this was not a hit-and-run.
The road has since reopened.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
