JAMESTOWN, N.C. — Troopers have arrested a suspect in a hit-and-run case that left a man seriously injured.
It happened January 24 on W. Main Street in Jamestown.
Highway Patrol said 52-year-old Zonte Pittman was walking on the shoulder when a car hit him and took off. Pittman went to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
On Saturday, troopers said they arrested Ryan D'Ron Vaneaton, 23, of High Point, and charged him with felony hit-and-run.
Vaneaton was jailed without bond.
