DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. — Two people are dead after a multi-car crash on Highway 109 in Davidson County on Monday.
Troopers said it happened shortly after 12:30 p.m. south of Garner Road. A Honda SUV was driving south and trying to pass another car. The SUV then crashed head-on with the Dodge SUV that was driving north.
Highway Patrol said the driver of the Honda SUV and the driver of the Dodge SUV both died.
Troopers haven't released the names of the victims at this time.
