Eastbound Bryan Blvd. reopens after crash investigation in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — UPDATE: Bryan Boulevard has now reopened, according to police. According to the Greensboro Police Department, there were two crashes that happened in the area Friday.

The first happened when a vehicle rear-ended a truck pulling a trailer. The driver of the truck needed medical attention, but his injuries were non-life-threatening. 

The second crash occurred because of the backup caused by the first crash. One person had minor injuries. Both incidents are still being investigated, according to police. 

A road is closed in Greensboro due to a crash investigation Monday.

Greensboro police said eastbound Bryan Blvd. is closed between Westridge and Holden.

WFMY News 2 crews see that there are three cars at the scene of the crash, one which appears to be overturned.

The southbound lanes are completely closed and the northbound lanes have been reduced to one.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
