GREENSBORO, N.C. — A man is dead after crashing his car into a tree on I-85 in Greensboro, troopers say.
The crash happened 10:50 a.m. Tuesday. Troopers responded to the crash on I-85 South near NC-62 in Guilford County.
They said 36-year-old David Hollander-Urbach was going south on I-85 when he drove off the road to the left and hit a tree. His car then caught on fire.
Hollander-Urbach died on-scene.
Investigators don't know what caused him to drive off the road.
