MEBANE, N.C. — Three of four lanes are closed due to a crash on I-40 East in Alamance County early Monday morning, according to the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT).
The crash happened near exit 153 in Mebane. The lanes are expected to reopen around 9 a.m.
The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
