GREENSBORO, N.C. — UPDATE: The road is back open.
A road in Greensboro is closed after a crash downed power lines Friday.
Greensboro police said Battleground Avenue eastbound at Northwood to Dover Road is closed.
Officers received a call about the crash shortly before 8 a.m.
The Duke Energy map is showing 43 power outages in the area.
Drivers are encouraged to use an alternate route .
