GREENSBORO, N.C. — Teachers are free on Teacher Appreciation Day at the Greensboro Science Center on May 11, 2024!
Teachers, administrators, and district staff members who work in any public, private, or homeschool for grades pre-K through college can sign in at the GSC's welcome desk and show their teacher ID along with a photo ID to receive free general admission for the day.
"Our teachers work incredibly hard throughout the year to bring the world to their students, and we would like to show them our thanks, gratitude, and appreciation by inviting them to enjoy the aquarium, museum, and zoo at the Greensboro Science Center on Teacher Appreciation Day," said Alison Manka, the GCS's School and Aquarium Programs Manager.
Teachers will receive a 30% discount in the TriceraShop gift shop and have the opportunity tickets, an Aquarium Adventure for four, an animal painting, or a basket from the TriceraShop.
Participating teachers' guests will receive a discounted admission rate of $16.50 plus tax, per person.
