NORTH CAROLINA, USA — A wildfire in North Carolina continues to grow.
The U.S. Forest Service said the wildfire that began in Collett Ridge on Oct. 23 and has grown to 90 acres Thursday.
56 personnel are responding to the fire.
No structures have been damaged and no one has been injured, according to the U.S. Forest Service.
The fire is at 0% containment.
Fire crews are helping clear leaf debris from around buildings and homes and cutting back any overhanging grass, leaves, or trees.
There are no closures at this time to any road or trail but the public is asked to avoid the area so crews can work safely.
