Durham, NC-- Two Duke University football players face misdemeanor charges for a weekend incident at a Durham nightclub.
Officers reported seeing football player Eron Riley hit another person at Club 9 early Saturday morning. After officers arrested him for fighting, a police report said a "rowdy" crowd of at least 75 people gathered.
The report said officers repeatedly asked the crowd to scatter before arresting football player Austin Kelly for failure to disperse and for resisting and obstructing officers.
Riley is a junior wide receiver with the Blue Devils. Kelly is a freshman wide receiver.
