GREENSBORO, N.C. — Over 500 youth soccer teams will descend on the Triad this weekend for the latest rendition of the Adidas Clash tournament.
According to a press release from North Carolina Fusion, this year's tournament will feature 545 teams of U9-U19 boys and girls. A total of 350 boys teams and 195 girls teams, representing nine states, are expected to compete in this year's showcase.
The 2024 Adidas Clash will be played at 80 different soccer fields at the following seven venues across the Triad.
- Bryan Park Truist Soccer Complex in Browns Summit
- Hine Park in Winston-Salem
- Jamestown Park in High Point
- Sara Lee Complex in Winston-Salem
- Springwood Park in Burlington
- Truist Sports Park in Bermuda Run
- Zoo City Complex in Asheboro
In addition to these venues, the Conference Carolinas Final 4 Men's and Women's Championship will take place at Bryan Park's MacPherson Stadium.
Organizers expect over 25,000 visitors to come to the area as a result of the tournament. Each venue will feature food trucks and places to purchase event merchandise, such as apparel and team posters.
