The Panthers will face three AFC East teams in the preseason, including a home game against the New York Jets on Aug. 17.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Carolina Panthers released their 2024 preseason schedule on Tuesday, announcing a trio of games against AFC East opponents ahead of the regular season.

The Panthers will then return to the Queen City for their only home preseason game against the Jets on Aug. 17. They'll close the preseason on Saturday, Aug. 24 against the Buffalo Bills.

In addition to the home game against New York, the Panthers will have a joint practice in Charlotte with the Jets. The teams also had a joint practice and preseason game last year, with Aaron Rodgers pumping up rookie Bryce Young before his first NFL season.

The Panthers open the regular season in New Orleans on Sept. 8. Carolina's home opener will be against Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, Sept. 15.
