Social media was sent into a frenzy Thursday afternoon after Iowa's Caitlin Clark declared for the 2024 WNBA Draft. Here's how celebrities and stars reacted.

IOWA CITY, Iowa — Caitlin Clark declared for the 2024 WNBA Draft Thursday afternoon, and her announcement sent social media buzzing. 

Speculation had been growing for months on whether Clark would enter the draft or stay at Iowa for a fifth year. Now, fans of Clark and the WNBA alike have a strong guess of where they can watch Clark shoot logo 3-pointers in the future.

The 2024 WNBA Draft takes place on April 15, and the latest ESPN mock draft projects the Indiana Fever to select Clark with the first overall pick. Just minutes after Clark made her announcement, the Fever began posting some not-so-cryptic posts on the team's X account, highlighting their excitement about their upcoming selection. 

But the Fever weren't the only ones reacting to the news. Here's what social media had to say about Clark's announcement.
