CONCORD, N.C. — Sen. JD Vance, vice presidential candidate running mate for former President Donald Trump, is expected to be at the Bank of America ROVAL 400 this weekend, according to Charlotte Motor Speedway.
The Cup Series race is set for 2 p.m. at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord.
Further details about Vance's presence at the race have not been released at this time, but it's anticipated that his security motorcade will impact traffic patterns in that area as he travels to and from the big race.
While the big race is on Sunday, there will still be lots to see and do in and around Charlotte Motor Speedway this weekend. On Friday, the JGR Fan Fest is slated for 4:30 p.m. followed by the NASCAR Hauler Parade at 7 p.m. On Saturday, the fan zone reopens at 9:30 a.m. with multiple events planned.
Right now, tickets for the full weekend package are $119. Tickets to Sunday's race are $60 for adults and $10 for kids. Kids get in free on Saturday. Find more information about ticket options here.
