RALEIGH, N.C. — The Carolina Hurricanes will face the New York Islanders in the First Round of the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs. This marks the third post season meeting between the two programs. Most recently, the 'Canes and Islanders played in the 2023 Eastern Conference First Round, where Carolina won in six games.
Carolina is making its sixth straight playoff appearance. The Hurricanes owns a 41-23 all-time postseason record at PNC arena and has won 11 of its last 14 playoff series starting on home ice.
