Heaven Fitch makes wrestling history becoming first female to win an NCHSAA Individual Wrestling Title!

Fitch, who attends Uwharrie Charter Academy in Asheboro, took first place in the 1A 106 lb division at the state meet which took place at the Greensboro Coliseum.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Uwharrie Charter Academy’s Heaven Fitch made history Saturday night in Greensboro! That’s because she became the first female to win an NCHSAA Individual Wrestling Title.

Fitch took first place in the 1A 106 lb division at the state meet which took place at the Greensboro Coliseum. 

Last year, Fitch finished fourth to become the first female to place at the State Individual Tournament.
