GREENSBORO, N.C. — A fan-favorite in golf will return to Greensboro for the Wyndham Championship.
Three-time Major winner Jordan Spieth, 31, will play in the tournament. The 85th annual Wyndham Championship is set for August 8-11 at Sedgefield Country Club.
Spieth won the Masters, the U.S. Open and the FedExCup championship in 2015, followed by the Open Championship in 2017.
This will be his fourth Wyndham Championship appearance and his first since 2020. His best finish at Wyndham was during his 2013 rookie season - Spieth finished second after losing a two-hole playoff to Patrick Reed.
