CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — UPDATE: UNC's Board of Trustees approved Bill Belichick's head football coach contract.
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Board of Trustees is holding an emergency meeting on Thursday at 9 a.m. to review Bill Belichick’s contract.
Belichick and the UNC football team reached an agreement on Wednesday to make Belichick the university’s next football coach.
According to UNC, Belichick has agreed to a five-year contract with the university. UNC’s Board of Trustees is expected to vote on approval of Belichick’s contact at the meeting.
