GREENSBORO, N.C. — In a full auditorium at Grimsley High School, Whirlies quarterback Faizon Brandon, the top overall prospect in the Class of 2026, announced his commitment to the Tennessee. The five-star quarterback picked the Volunteers over Alabama, LSU and NC State.
Brandon is Tennessee's first commitment for the class of 2026.
The 6-foot-4 QB caught the eyes of schools across the country during his sophomore season. Brandon led Grimsley to a 13-1 record while passing for 3,026 yards with 36 touchdowns and three interceptions.
The rising junior still has two more years at Grimsley High School.
