Chuba Hubbard signs four-year extension with Carolina Panthers

The Panthers locked in their running back through the 2028 season

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Carolina Panthers have reached a contract agreement with running back Chubba Hubbard. The deal is worth $33 million over four years with $15 million guaranteed, reaching a max value of $37.2 million.

Hubbard is on pace to have a career-year with 665 yards and 6 touchdowns. He ranks sixth on Carolina's all-time rushing list with 2,645 yards.

This move is an effort to keep the core players in Carolina as General Manager and Head Coach Dave Canales look to rebuild the roster.

The extension comes a day after the Panthers announced that rookie running back Jonathan Brooks was added to the active 53-man roster.

The Panthers play the New York Giants in Munich, Germany this Sunday at 9:30 AM. You can watch the game only on NFL Network.
