Brett Favre's Brother-In-Law Killed In An Accident

Casey Tynes killed in an all-tarrain vehicle accident in Mississippi.

Sumrall, MS -- The brother-in-law of Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre has been killed in an all-terrain vehicle accident on the player's property in Mississippi. Casey Tynes suffered head injuries Wednesday when the vehicle flipped over. The county sheriff says Tynes wasn't wearing a helmet. The death compounded a very difficult week for Favre, who continues to feel the effects from his first concussion in nine years. Favre was held out of Wednesday's practice, three days after he was flattened by William Joseph in Sunday's loss to the New York Giants. Favre's backup could be out for the season. Doug Pederson has a cracked bone in his back, a broken rib and a torn muscle in his side. The injuries occurred after he replaced Favre on Sunday.
