My 2 Cents: Staying productive during the coronavirus pandemic

You may be stuck at home, but Four 2 Five's Taheshah Moise says now is the time to get those side projects done.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — For many of you, it's day whatever of social distancing and self-isolation.

At this point, the days sort of blend together. Everyday feels like a Saturday.

But I challenge you to use this extra time wisely.

When this is all over, I want everyone to be able to look back at and see at least one accomplishment you're proud of.

You've finished all your assignments for the day and you now have time to be productive.

Take advantage of the extra time if you have it because I guarantee just sitting around thinking about things you can't do right now, or spending hours on the couch watching tv is not helpful.

Tackle a project you've put off.

Your closet isn't going to rearrange itself. Spring cleaning is still a thing, and there's no time like the present to declutter your home and get rid of things taking up space.

Read that book on your nightstand you've been meaning to get to.

Learn the basics of another language. You can do that right from your phone with a number of apps.

Just do something productive. Even if it's just one thing.

There's a lot out of our control right now this is one thing you can control.
