You know all anyone has been able to talk about the past few weeks is coronavirus.
I'm guilty too because it's so hard *not* to focus on it. Not just the virus itself, but how it's affecting our everyday lives.
Working from home, schooling from home and the list goes on.
I don't know about you, but I could use a break. So I wanted to share with you a few things I do on the weekends when I'm off to clear my mind.
Number one: I try to take a virtual class. For me it's Spanish. It's something I did in person before the virus hit.
And I want to keep up with the language while I'm cooped up at home. For you, it could be a gym offering a local workout or even a craft project that's streamed from start to finish.
Number two: I catch up with loved ones. We were made to communicate with people. And doing it now is more important than ever.
I encourage you to call friends or family. Video chat is great too if you have that capability. More times than not, you will feel better after stepping away from that conversation.
Number three: I sleep in! It's amazing what a full night's rest can do for you.
I feel like a different person really and wake up with a much clearer mind ready to tackle the day. So do what you can to get those extra zzz's
I am thinking of you all and just want to make sure we are all minding both our physical and mental health.
