New York, NY -- More success for Madea, or at least the guy who helps breathe life into her. Tyler Perry's first book will make its debut at the top of the New York Times' best-seller list in the non-fiction category. The book "Don't Make a Black Woman Take Off Her Earrings: Madea's Uninhibited Commentaries on Love and Life" comes on the heels of his movie "Madea's Family Reunion," which opened at number one and took in more than 30 million dollars. His previous film, "Diary of a Mad Black Woman" also did well at the box office. That doesn't even count the touring plays in which Perry dons the dress and wig to take on the role of Madea. In a statement, Perry says he is "really happy for the loyalty and continued support" of his fans.
