Ashland City, Tenn. -- A Tennessee man who sent a mysterious package to country music star Louise Mandrell has pleaded guilty to stalking. Authorities say Kirk Easterwood had been harassing one of Mandrell's employees for three years after getting fired from Mandrell's theater in Pigeon Forge. The bomb squad responded to the package because Easterwood has a background in explosives. Police say they found a pocketknife sharpened on both sides, some Tarot cards, homemade greeting cards decorated with comic book characters, pyramids and crystal balls. Charges against Easterwood will be dropped after a year if he does not make contact with either Mandrell or her employees.
