GREENSBORO, N.C. — Thousands in the Triad made their way to North Carolina A&T State University Thursday.
The occasion, to see Pastor and Inspirational Leader T.D. Jakes!
Jakes came to speak at the university as apart of the Chancellor's Speaker Series.

The series was created to bring nationally distinguished guests to N.C. A&T to empower campus dialogue and combat important issues.
Chancellor Harold L. Martin kicked off the event welcoming students and guest to Corbett Sports Center.
The inspirational ceremony was fittingly titled 'Living Your Best Life."
Jakes was welcomed to an enormous standing ovation following Martin's opening remarks.
Jakes motivated attendees from the moment he took the stage until the moment he departed, following a prayer in which the entire Corbett Sports Center held hands.
Much of Jakes speech dealt with overcoming hardships and how your response to them either makes you or breaks you.
Judging from the crowd's roaring response, they won't be letting anything break them anytime soon!
