4-year-old boy drowns in North Carolina, police say

The incident happened at the Cramer Mountain Club on Saturday.

CRAMERTON, N.C. — A 4-year-old child drowned at the Cramer Mountain Club on Saturday, officials said. 

Emergency crews responded to a reported drowning on Hidden Pastures Drive on Saturday. When Cramerton police and firefighters arrived, they found a 4-year-old boy who had been pulled from the water. First responders immediately tried reviving the boy, who was taken to the hospital where he died.
