GREENSBORO, N.C. — Nine couples are tying the knot at the Fun Fourth Festival this year.
The couples were selected through an application process to get married in front of their friends, family, and of course, all of Downtown Greensboro.
It's called the "Red, White, and Say I Do" event.

The ceremonies are taking place center stage at the intersection of North Elm and McGee Street.
The officiant, music, and flowers were all free. Couples just needed to bring a marriage license.
