State Supreme Court considers removing RFK Jr. from NC ballots

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. dropped his bid to run for president and endorsed Donald Trump.

NORTH CAROLINA, USA — The fate of North Carolina ballots is in the hands of the state Supreme Court.

Weeks ago, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. dropped his bid to run for president as an Independent and endorsed Republican nominee Donald Trump.

He asked the NC State Board of Elections to remove his name from the ballot, so as not to take away potential votes from Trump.

The board declined citing expense to reprint ballots, but Kennedy won his appeal.

Now, the state is taking the issue to the higher court.

If you requested an absentee ballot, you won't receive it until the matter gets settled.
