CLEVELAND, OHIO -- Senator Richard Burr told the North Carolina Republican Delegation Wednesday morning that 2016 will be his last Senate campaign.
Senator Burr is in Cleveland for the Republican National Convention.
He is running for his third term in the U.S. Senate against Democratic challenger Deborah Ross.
He is the Chairman of the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Intelligence. He is also a member of the Senate Finance Committee and the Committee of Health, Education, Labor and Pensions.
Prior to serving in the Senate, Burr was a member of the U.S. House of Representatives for five terms.
