RALEIGH, N.C. — On the heels of the first presidential debate of the 2024 election season, President Joe Biden was in Raleigh Friday afternoon to rally voters.

Meanwhile, former president Donald Trump was campaigning in Virginia.

The two faced off in a debate Thursday night. The candidates clashed over their topics including the economy, abortion, immigration, the wars in Ukraine and Gaza, and the January 6 Capitol Riot.

As Americans watched across the country, undecided voters told CBS the debate did not help them make up their minds.

During his speech, Biden mentioned platforms he intended to secure if he is re-elected.

"We're going to stand up for the women of America-we're gonna restore Roe v. Wade as the law of the land, we're gonna stand up for the right to vote. We're gonna stand up for Medicare and Social Security, we're gonna fight for childcare, paid leave and other care, " Biden said.
