RALEIGH, N.C. — Vice President Kamala Harris visited Raleigh on Friday, according to her campaign.
The presidential candidate was originally supposed to visit the state on Aug. 8 (the same day as J.D. Vance, former President Donald Trump's running mate) in her first visit since Joe Biden dropped out of the race. Tropical Storm Debby forced her to postpone the trip.
During her speech, Harris spoke about her plans to bolster the economy and prevent price gouging.
Her visit comes just days before the Democratic National Convention.
Former President Trump will visit NC on Wednesday.
