HIGH POINT, N.C. — EDITOR'S NOTE: An earlier version of this story incorrectly stated Vance would be speaking at High Point University. He will be speaking at Congdon Yard in High Point.
Republican vice presidential candidate J.D. Vance will be in High Point on Thursday for a town hall event hosted by the Turning Point PAC, according to the Trump-Vance campaign.
The event will be held at the Engine Room at Congdon Yards at 410 W English Street in High Point. Doors open at 8 a.m. and the event is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m.
Then on Friday, Vance will head to Selma, NC to rally voters.
Vance was last in North Carolina this past Friday when he spoke to voters in both Monroe and Raeford. His visit to High Point will come one day after Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump speaks in Rocky Mount on Wednesday.
Democratic presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris will be in Raleigh on Wednesday for a campaign rally. Vice presidential candidate Tim Walz will be in Greensboro the same day.
